We have decided to postpone the digital edition of Puppet Playlist which was scheduled for Thursday, June 4th. (This is the note we posted about our decision to postpone the originally scheduled stream of the show, now rescheduled for July 1st.) She most recently was an Artist in Residence at MASS MoCA and for 9 months at the museum Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute.

She received her BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and MFA in Digital Art with a focus in Animation at Pratt Institute. Her award-winning short animated documentaries have screened at prestigious film festivals, including Ann Arbor Film Festival, Florida Film Festival, Animasivo el Festival in Mexico City, Tricky Women at Film Archiv Austria, and St Louis International Film Festival. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums such as Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Aperture Gallery, Birmingham Museum of Art, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and the Museum of the City of New York. Nelson's practice has evolved from deconstructing environments in photomontage to creating animations inspired by American history and fabricated mythologies. There may or may not be one brief creepy clown, depending on how you feel about clowns.Ĭaroline is a new media artist working in animation, digital art, and installation.
